Affiliate Disclosure

DRAFT — not legal advice; Derek to review (consider an attorney). No affiliate links are live yet, and we haven’t joined any affiliate program. The program lines below go live only after each program approves us.
Once an affiliate program approves us, some links on laytonfarms.com will be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Our rule: we only link to what we use
We only recommend tools and supplies we actually use on our own homestead, like the saw that cut the boards for our compost bin or the canner in our kitchen. If we haven’t used it, we won’t link to it as a recommendation. A commission never changes what we say about a product. If something disappointed us, we’ll tell you.
When a post or page contains affiliate links, we’ll say so near the top.
Programs (not active yet)
Amazon Associates: not applied yet. If Amazon approves us, this section will read:
Layton Farms is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
The Home Depot affiliate program: not applied yet.
Lowe’s affiliate program: not applied yet.
Payhip affiliates: [DEREK: turn on Payhip’s built-in affiliate program for our products? If not, cut this line.]
Where you won’t find affiliate links
Our PDF downloads and printables don’t contain Amazon affiliate links. When a download points you to a tool, it links to a page on our website instead.
